"Keith eat crayons? Keith eat?"

I just want to apologize for my crappy blog and of course for my stupid self.  All of my lovely photos that I spent all of my extra time that I don't even have, disappeared. I'm completely pissed and upset about it. I obviously don't know what I am doing so if these pictures on this post disappear as well,  I am done with writing this blog. Theres no need to waste my time if my posts aren't gonna have pictures and appear how I want them. I did fix I married my boss! so you can now check that post out.

Anywho, on a better note, me and Keith (my amazing son) made our own crayons today. And it was a Blast! This is a great little project for toddlers/young kids...and of course grown ups who still tend to color every now and then.....Don't deny it! You know you love coloring still.  These pictures don't do any justice on how pretty the crayons are in person.

This project couldn't get any simpler. First, take all your broken crayons and peel off all the paper.
Then place the crayons in a cupcake pan lined with cupcake papers. You can mix multiple colors or stick with same colored crayons.

Then pop them into the oven. I put mine in the oven while it was pre-heating to 350` and by the time my oven heated to 350` the crayons were done.

All your doing is melting the crayons so it'll only take 10 minutes or so. Just make sure you watch them. As soon as the crayons are completely melted take them out. I want to try making them in one of those cool, character silicone ones next time.

Let them cool and then peel of the paper and your good to go! Color away. No need to buy that Crayola crayon maker. You can even use those glitter crayons which make these cryaons even prettier!

As soon as I took them out of the oven Keith kept saying "Look good! Keith eat?"   "Keith eat crayons?" "Keith take a bite?" "Keith try."  After repeating myself  Several times and explaining how we don't eat these even though we cooked them like cupcakes, he still insisted that he try one. He successfully got to "try" one with a lick (acutally three) before I could snatch it away.

Whats something that you or your child ate that wasn't supposed to be eaten?

Sweet Valentine

Even though I asked my sweet little boy to be my Valentine, I went on ahead and did a little something special for my husband. It wasn't nothing big or exciting. Just "Here's a couple of snack foods and dinner." Oh and I also got him some fishing stuff and binoculars. My lovely mom  (Hi Mommy!  :D)  was kind enough to take me and my son out to town to grab a "couple" of things.
So yesterday, I had Levi and Keith run to Hastings and Walmart while I set everything up and cooked a yummy dinner. I made a seaoning with Ranch Dressing Mix and Garlic powder with a few other ingredients and covered Oyster Crackers with it, then baked them. Then I cooked a cheesy, chicken noodle "casserole".
I doubled the recipe so it made Plenty. It actually made two 9x13 cake pans full. This cheesy pasta casserole was made of pasta, chicken, Velveeta, Rotel, Chicken Broth, and Mushroom soup. Super easy and like I mentioned before Yummy! I even mixed some jalapenos in my bowl and added some peas & carrots in my son's. I'll  gladly give you the recipe if you're interested.

Of course we had to have dessert...cause all the chocolate candys weren't enough, so I baked a Strawberry cake with Vanilla icing.

Don't laugh at the cake! I know it looks awful. Its definitely not my best work. The icing kept coming out watery and plus my foot was giving me hell. I was ready to sit my tired butt down.
We ended the night watching House that Levi rented. We don't have any television channels what-so-ever. [gasp!]  I know.
So that was my little Valentine celebration. Yes I did it early. It seemed like a perfect day to do it and plus when we plan on doing something it always gets messed up.

Did you do anything special for Valentine's or are you planning on anything special?

I married my Boss!

Halloween @ Work!
We are the ones with nothing on our faces.
We do have badass contacts in tho.
I promise its not as bad as the title sounds. I met Levi (my husband) at my first job. Long John Silvers and A&W. I remember it was my junior year in high school and one of my Very good friends just got hired there. She Begged me to go fill out an application. She said "Nicole, that job is so easy! ...Pleeeaase." So I gave in. I ended up getting the job as a chasier and Levi was a Team Leader (later became an Asst. Manager).
He charmed me with the looks he gave me and the comments he made. I, of course assumed he did this to every girl. I was never one of those stupid girls who would believe everything a guy tells them. "But daddy, he says he loves me"  Nope not this gal. After only 2 months of working there we started dating. July 7th, 2006. We even chose this same date ( but in the year 2009) to get married.
We didn't get to have a fancy, dream come true wedding. A total of 6 people came to our ceremony. Levi, Keith (our son), my parents, the Justice of The Peace, and of course myself. Sad huh?
The ceremony was at our apartment and I decorated it myself. I bought all the decorations from one of my favorite stores. Dollar Tree. I used fake flowers, ribbon, paper plates, napkins, and whatever else cost $1 to decorate the walls. My dad even made us a 3 tier wedding cake. Delicious!!! I still dream of maybe one day we could actually have a real wedding. I would like to at least be able to try on a wedding dress and see my husband in a tuxedo before we die.
Our perfect son was 2 months old when Levi and I got married. Oops! We did it kinda backwards but it worked out great for us. Our relationship wasn't the typical relationship that the average couple goes thru. Which is a Whole other story. We didn't have issues between each other, we were just fine. It was others that made our relationship a ride from hell.

So 5 1/2 years of being together and we are still doing great! I'll always give credit to Brittni (my dear friend) for mine and Levi's relationship. I wish we were still in contact with each other but I guess thats life. So Brittni, if you happen to stubble upon this for some Very Odd reason, Thank you!   :D

And for anyone who is dying to know...Levi is only 6 years older than me. I told you its not as bad as it sounds. Age doesn't matter anyway...unless it involves a young kid of course.

How did you and your partner meet?

A couple things that make me .....

Alright, I know nobody likes hearing people complain but what the hell right. So I decided to write (a couple) of my pet peeves. You can look at this as more of an explanation of why people may get annoyed at these things instead of me complaining.  I will have to send this post to my husband's email later (you know, just in case if he is curious or something) So here it goes... Oh and these are in no particular order. They pretty much have the same annoyance level.

1. When someone takes the trash out and doesn't put a bag back into the trash can. Really?! I know, I know. I should be appreciative and I am. Trust me. But if someone (and keep in mind that I am married so that should sum up the "someone") takes out the trash and I don't know about it, then mostly likely  I am going to have some horrible, disgusting, icky, substance on my hands (did I mention I am also a mother) and I NEED to throw it in the trash as quickly as possible. It never fails. Everytime I Need a bag in the trash can, there never seems to be one in there. Its like when your cooking or something and your hands are covered with gunk and all of a sudden your face decides it needs to be itched. Its just down-right annoying.

2. "Oh, Its an inside joke."  Ummm did I effing ask! The reason why this annoys me is because most of the people who has said this are stuck up and are just annoying in general. I don't even have to ask or make a confused face and they tell me that I won't understand cause its an inside joke. Gee, thanks for making me care even less.

3. When people use those ear phones in public. Yes, good for you for having the "high tech" equipment and being able to multitask but you have now not only made a fool of youself but you have also made a fool of myself cause I have just answered your question or made a comment to you when you weren't even talking to me in the first place. I'm not trying to offend anyone who uses the ear phone. I'm just saying that you kinda look psycho "talking to yourself" and you embarass the rest of us who assume you are talking them.

4. People who don't sneeze. Just let the damn thing out! You know what I'm talking about. Those girls who make that little mouse noise instead of ACCHOOO!!!   I even try to overachieve and add a curse word at the end. Like F*ck or sh!t A sneeze is meant to come out and relieve some type of thing in your nose. It shouldn't stay in there.

5. Unexpected company. I like seeing people but only when I am ready. I would like myself and my son to look decent as well as the house. Don't think that I let my house get all trashy and I don't take care of things but I would like my house (and myself and son) to look the way I would want a house to look if I visited someone. Just please give my a heads up that you want to visit.

This is just a few of my pet peeves, as I could literally write a novel of all the things that annoy me. This wasn't meant to hurt anyone's feeling and I'm sorry if it did. It was supposed to be funny. Just picture me saying all of this in a sarcastic voice.
What is your biggest pet peeve?

~Xtreme Lips~

Oh yeah-Its review time! So my first product I am reviewing is Sally Hansen LIP INFLATION Xtreme.
After I did some research on which brand I should buy that wouldnt kill my budget I decided to splurge a little and purchase this one. The reviews I read were all good. They all had said that you get the same results as an expensive brand. I purchased this at Walgreens for a little over $8.00 -which is more than I spend on my make-up. As I have mentioned on my other post I buy my make-up from the dollar tree. Its comes in this Awesome container (which you could totally use as a mirror when applying the product) and the tip is just like a nail polish brush. My camera wouldn't allow me to get a decent picture (sorry). The gloss smells nice and it doesn't taste bad at all. When you first put the product on it has a tingle sensation. It does NOT burn or hurt. Now I wouldn't call it Xtreme lips (nothing like Angelina Jolie) but it does plump up your lips to their fullest that is possible. The results are instant and lasts for Awhile, just like the package says. Call me crazy, but I've noticed that even when I am not wearing this product, my lips appear bigger than what they were before I have ever used this. I would Definitely recommend this product! I love it and I am glad I purchased it. Here are my before and after pictures.
Now my After picture is slightly closer to my lips but you can still tell a difference. If you look at my piercings, you can see that my bottom lip is Much more plumped and that its more against my peircings. Even if you look at my top lip you can tell that its bigger. Like I said earlier, its not Xtreme plumping but there are results. Again, I am happy with this product.  I hope you all enjoyed my review. Please leave a comment below if you have any questions or if you have used this product and how you feel about it.

~+~That Christmas Feeling~+~

Around Christmas time do you ever get that "Christmas feeling"? Just a happy "Christmasy" family feeling? Well I do. Most years I even get it around July but it usually goes away and comes back at a more appropriate time like when the tree leaves start dieing and the weather turns cold and I Love it.
This year is a different story. 10 days until Christmas and I do not feel 1 ounce of the feeling. Im not sure if its because we just got finished moving and just been to busy or if its because we are so excited and happy about our new place...or maybe its because the weather isnt really Christmas weather.
For whatever reason, it does not feel like Christmas and I feel somewhat sad about it. I didnt even really decorate or have the "want" to decorate. The tree is up and done,
I set out a village (which my mom painted for me. She used the same colors we used to paint our house) and I have 1 snowflake hung.

Usually its like winter wonderland in our house. Lights are hung all over, snowflakes are on the walls and hanging from the ceiling, and Christmas things are just
everywhere. I haven't even listened to any Christmas music yet...well I take that back, I heard 3 songs on the radio but they weren't the traditional Christmas songs. Maybe thats the reason I don't have that feeling yet, but I have been watching Christmas movies everyday so far this month (I have a 2 1/2 year old son and he gets to pick out what we watch).  I haven't even wrapped the presents yet! What is wrong with me?!

What about you, do you get a certain Christmas feeling or other holiday feeling? And whats your favorite holiday?

Well, Hello There

Alright, so this is my first blog.  Yay! I am now a "blogger"   : D  I have been wanting to start my own blog for years but just never really got around to it. I was iffy about making one because what if no one finds what I blab about interesting.....but there has to be as least 1 person out there who might find this slightly interesting.

I still dont know exactly what Im doing but hopefully I will get the hang of this. I feel like I have so much to say right now. I just dont know where to start.

Hmmm...well I guess I could start by talking about my newest thing I've gotten into. Like everyone else in the world I have a YouTube account. I haven't uploaded any videos yet but boy do I watch enough of them to make up for it. Recently I have found two Very interesting things. First was MyGlam.
MyGlam is a monthly make-up subscription. Its a new webstie  http://www.myglam.com/ that just launched a month ago and they already reached their limit of subscribers. Within a week they reached their limit. Yes, its that good. MyGlam was started by Michelle Phan, who is a great make-up artist. If you are interested into make-up tutorials and such you should watch her videos on her YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/MichellePhan/featured
Anywho... every month you pay $10 and MyGlam will send you a make-up bag filled with 4-5 full size products or  deluxe sized products. And these products are supposedly THE products. You get make-up from Urban Decay, Tarte, NYX, Mai Couture, etc...Now I have never been able to afford any name brand items so I am Super stoked about this deal. Seriously-I buy my make-up from the Dollar Tree.

So when I decided to create my own blog, I thought I could post about all the products I receive and which ones I would recommend. I unfortunately was a couple hours too late when I subscribed to MyGlam so I missed out on their December bag...which will probably end up being their BEST bag...poo. I never thought I would be so excited about make-up. I think I'm more excited about getting a great deal than actually getting the products. But I am Definetly excited to try high end products. Which leads me to my other interesting thing I've gotten into. Voxbox http://www.influenster.com/   I also found this from watching a video on YouTube. Voxbox is kinda similar but its free and not monthly. And instead of getting just make-up you get a little of everything.  This idea is great because you get to try out new things and then you can go out and buy the stuff you like and not have to worry about wasting your money. Plus, its great for the companies because its more business.

I will be blogging about other things going on in my life and of course doing reviews of all the great products I get!
Are you subscribed to Voxbox or MyGlam...or to any other subscriptions that you would recommend? If so, I would be interested into hearing what you got in the mail   :D
